My Story
I’m Natalie, Coach and Founder of ASTERIA coaching. I am a learning and development specialist with over 20 years’ spanning education, professional learning and supporting children and families.
My career has been driven by a passion for helping people feel heard, understood and able to move forward. I pride myself on creating safe, supportive spaces where people can pause, reflect and explore what really matters to them.
As a coach, I bring warmth, curiosity and a non-judgemental approach. I truly believe that you are the expert in your own life; my role is to help you to explore your thoughts, recognise your strengths and discover your possibilities.
And that’s what ASTERIA is – a space to pause, reflect and grow.
Why ASTERIA?
ASTERIA comes from the Greek word ‘star.’ I chose this for the name of my business because of the symbolism it carries and the way in which it reflects both my identity and my coaching philosophy.
I believe that everyone has a light within them. Sometimes, life can make that light difficult to see, but the spark is there, waiting to be reignited. Like the stars that guide us through the darkness, coaching can help you find your way, reconnect with yourself and discover a path forward.
The name also links to a movement very close to my heart: the semi-colon project. ‘A semi-colon is used when an author could have chosen to end their sentence but chose not to. The author is you, and the sentence is your life.’ Even when life feels dark, the stars are always there. And after darkness comes light: a new day, a new chapter, hope and possibility.
My Approach
I believe that you have within you all that you need to thrive. You are the expert of you. My role in a coaching relationship is to support you in unlocking your potential.
My approach is warm, compassionate and non-judgemental. I won't tell you what to do or give you the answers. Instead, I'll help you explore your values, strengths and possibilities - helping you find the answers that are right for you. I do this through asking thought-provoking questions, facilitating reflective dialogue and drawing upon coaching psychologies and frameworks, cultivating a creative and inspiring space for meaningful change.
So, whether you're navigating a transition, feeling stuck, wondering what's next or simply wanting to understand yourself better, coaching provides a space to step back, gain clarity and move forward with intention.
